Things to know

  • The Redbird "Listening" Room
It’s in the name! This is a listening room, which means once the music starts, there is no talking. It’s a place to listen to songwriters sing their songs and tell their stories. We are not a bar or club. We are here to appreciate and LISTEN to the music, performed by the people who wrote the songs. We ask that you silence your phones or turn them off.
  • Age Restriction
While we have no official age restriction, it is important to keep in mind that as a listening room, we require that attendants remain silent and respectful during the course of our concerts. With this in mind, we leave it in your hands to carefully consider whether your young concert goers are ready for a listening room experience. No electronics allowed. However, regardless of age, no talking during performances.
  • Drinks & Food
We sell Ramblers, sodas and coffee. We also have Redbird Charcuterie Plates prepared especially for us by the Huisache Grill. Outside food and/or drink is not allowed except for BYOB Beer or Wine.
  • B.Y.O.B. Beer or Wine
No, we are NOT a licensed bar. We are a BYOB Beer or Wine live music venue.
  • Corkage/Cooler Fee
There is a $10 per group Corkage/Cooler Fee on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. There is no fee on Thursday Songwriters’ Nights.
  • Songwriters’ Nights
Songwriter Nights are every Thursday. Doors open at 6 pm. The sign-up list goes out at 6 pm to sign up. Songs start at 7 pm. Each participant will perform 2 original songs. Be tuned up and ready to go when you hit the stage. Be sure to speak and sing directly into the mic. Tell us your name and a little about yourself and your songs. We don’t need to hear your whole life story, but don’t be afraid to set up your songs a little for us either. $10 suggested cover at the door.
  • Songwriter Series
Songwriter Series shows are ticketed events. They are Intimate Solo/Duo Acoustic Shows. There are 60 tickets sold per show. On Sunday, doors open at 3:30 pm and the show starts at 4 pm. Friday & Saturday, doors open at 7 pm and the show starts at 7:30 pm. If times vary, they will be listed on the individual event. To see our full schedule or to purchase tickets, visit our events page.
  • Where to Buy Tickets
Tickets can ONLY be purchased from The Redbird either online at the Eventbrite ticket link or by phone. Do not buy tickets thru social media comments on our posts stating they have extra tickets or can't make it. These are not valid sales and tickets will not be honored.
  • Picking out Your Tickets
When buying from "Buy on Map" on Eventbrite, only seats in Red are available to be purchased. Grey spots are unavailable for purchase. When purchasing tickets, the system automatically picks the "best" ticket(s) for the show. Tickets picked for purchase will change from Red on the map to White with a Red circle. You can click on them to turn them Red and remove from your cart. Please review cart and remove any unwanted tickets before purchase. If you exit out of the checkout process at any point, your tickets will be locked for 8 minutes before being available for purchase again.
