About the event
Taylor was raised in the foothills of the Carolina mountains, to parents from East Tennessee and West Texas. He later moved to Atlanta and played in variety of bands and musical styles, but always felt at home playing songs inspired by his friends and family in Appalachia and Texas. Born Nathan Taylor Godbee, he was named after his mother's father Taylor Campbell who played guitar in gospel and honky-tonk groups across Tennessee in the ‘50s and ’60s along with such greats as Flatt and Scruggs on the Grand Ole Opry. Taylor named the group after his grandpa in his honor and effort to keep the music alive. https://taylorcampbellband.com/
